# Virtual Vaults - Data Room connection

**Prerequisites:**

* You need to have the same e-mail address as a user name within both the Emma platform and Virtual Vaults
* Users need to have bulk download rights within Virtual Vaults. If the user doesn't have such rights, Emma will not have access to them.

**Connecting Virtual Vaults:**

The Virtual Vaults integration is fully generally available. You can directly connect or reconnect your Virtual Vaults data room from Emma without any additional approval steps.

**Good to know:**

* Virtual Vaults puts no encryption or password protection on documents themselves.
